TBMF Newsletter
May 24, 2006
The following note was received from TBMF's good friend and current Chair of the Cooperating Boards, Jonas Thorangen.
------------------------------------------------------------
Dear friends,
The New TBMF is born.
It is with lots of gratefulness I am reading through minutes, notes, e-mails and the last newsletter (I did laugh a few times, Duane) from TBMF. You have done a great job together with the Coordinating Committee going over by-laws, working through job-descriptions etc. to create the “New TBMF”.
Thank you Duane and Marcia for these years you have been General Secretary/-ies. It has been a joy and pleasure to work with you in Thailand as well on distance from Sweden . I will be praying for good health and a good year in the USA . It is good to know that we can expect your return to Thailand and I am looking forward to once again work together.
In all the changes of TBMF it feels absolutely right to have you, Chatchai, in the new position as COO. You have been working with the TBMF for many years already and know the organization and the cooperating boards. I am sure we could not have found anyone better to fill this role and I am sure that you and the staff at the TBMF office will take care of all the duties in the best way.
Thanks also to all the missionaries and Coordinating Committee that you were willing to take up the work that we, the mission board reps, left you with. There are several people that have accepted new duties in the “New TBMF” and I am thankful to all of you that you are willing to take on this extra work.
A big thank you to all of you for all the hard work you have done with the reorganization and for accepting new duties. Let us pray for one another and for the born again TBMF.
The only thing we know for sure is that the future is not what it use to be .
Peace and blessings
Jonas Thorangen
